Fernandes Ravelle Deluxe Review

Fernandes Guitars have set high goals for their Ravelle Series of single cutaway solid bodied electrics. The series is in charge of production of models which represent the crossover between classic and modern. The offset Les Paul - shaped body and advanced features make this series stand out from the crowd of metal axes. Ravelle Deluxe is situated somewhere around the middle of the lineup with it`s body made of quilted maple top and mahogany back. The top is slightly arched with color scheme determining the color of the top binding. Ravelle Deluxe comes in black, ivory and trans amber color options with glossy finish on all of them. The bridge is a tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar, both clad in black matte finish. In the pickup compartment there are EMG81 in the bridge and EMG60 in the neck position with split volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch. The neck is made of mahogany with a set-in joint and features an ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets, abalone trapezoid inlays and a Graphtech TREM nut. Fingerboard radius on this model measures 14 inches. Ravelle Deluxe sports black colored hardware, 24-3/4" scale and locking tuners. The MSRP is set at $1,249.
