Fender Select Telecaster Review

Fender`s Select Series offers exclusive models of Stratocaster, Telecaster and other famous Fender shapes. These models are equipped with luxurious aesthetic features and top shelf materials and craftsmanship. Select Telecaster is a semi-hollow bodied single cutaway model with a chambered ash body and flamed maple top. It is available in violin burst color with gloss lacquer finish. There is no binding around the top of the body. The bridge on this model is American Tele with New American Standard bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate. The bridge is plated in chrome and nickel. The pickups are two single coils with the bridge pickup in slanted position. Both pickups are Fender Select Tele pickups. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and three-position pickup switch. The neck i made of bird`s eye maple with a modern C shape and bolt-on joint. The back of the neck is finished in urethane satin. Bird`s eye maple fingerboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays. Fingerboard radius is compound and ranges from 9.50 to 14 inches and synthetic bone nut is 1.685" wide. Standard 25-1/2" scale length, white plastic pickguard, nickel/chrome hardware and neck plate with micro tilt wrap the spec up. The MSRP for Select Telecaster is set at $2,999.99.
