2012 Custom Deluxe Stratocaster is a new model from Custom deluxe series and represents some of the finest new and vintage options available for Custom Shop`s Strats. It starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of hand selected lightweight ash with AAA grade quilted maple top. This model is available in three color options, faded cherry sunburst, faded honey burst and candy red. All of them are available with both rosewood and maple fingerboards and finished in gloss. The bridge is Deluxe 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge with chrome plating and string-through-body construction. Abby Handwound Stratocaster single coil pickups are laid out in a standard pattern with slanted bridge pickup. The controls on this model include master volume, master tone and master grease bucket knobs. The neck is made of maple and features C contour with bolt-on joint. Contoured heel on this neck allows for a better access to upper frets. The fingerboard is made of either maple or rosewood and is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays, 9.50" fingerboard radius and 1.65" wide micarta nut. Other features include: Fender tuning machines, chrome plated hardware and standard 25-1/2" scale length. The MSRP for 2012 Custom Deluxe Stratocaster is set at $3,750.
