Dean's Leslie West Standard is fairly good guitar. Not a brilliant one, but Leslie West Standard will serve you until you decide it's time to go for a bit more expensive guitar. You will not go wrong if you go ahead with Leslie West Standard.

Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Dean's Leslie West Standard as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on Leslie West Standard, but Dean felt that Leslie West Standard provides enough features for a given price and the market that Dean aims for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but Leslie West Standard will deliver what it's built for.

You can plug this baby into a toaster and, God knows, maybe it would sound as great as it does with any other amp. Seriously, Dean made a Leslie West Standard, a terrific sounding instrument that deserves all the praise it can get. There is simply no need to change any stock-provided parts built into this axe, as it sounds professional all the way. Dean's Leslie West Standard is a flawlessly sounding instrument.

Though it could be better, action of Dean's Leslie West Standard is not that bad at all. It may go out of tune when mistreated, but it's easily tuned back in no time. You won't be let down while playing Leslie West Standard's neck. Guitar does feel a bit cheaper, but it will last you a long time, if you handle it with care that each instrument should be getting anyhow.

Some might say that Dean didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but Leslie West Standard isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel Leslie West Standard might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
