Dean's Evo Tevo is fairly good guitar. Not a brilliant one, but Evo Tevo will serve you until you decide it's time to go for a bit more expensive guitar. You will not go wrong if you go ahead with Evo Tevo.

Dean could throw in a bit more features into Evo Tevo but this guitar is definitely a usable musical instrument. Whether it's the price cut, or Dean felt that simplicity is a good way to go, Evo Tevo is built with a limited set of features, so one needs see if it fits the need. Not the best equipped instrument, but Evo Tevo will do well for some musicians.

Evo Tevo guitar has a huge sound that sits shoulder to shoulder with sound produced by the guitars of the highest rank. It's easily controllable and even easier to shape to your own personal music style and style of playing. It's an easy task to adjust the hardware to make this guitar truly fit your playing needs. Dean has produced a guitar that is capable of achieving that huge and expensive sound which you can hear on records, played by world's top musicians.

Though it could be better, action of Dean's Evo Tevo is not that bad at all. It may go out of tune when mistreated, but it's easily tuned back in no time. You won't be let down while playing Evo Tevo's neck. Guitar does feel a bit cheaper, but it will last you a long time, if you handle it with care that each instrument should be getting anyhow.

Some might say that Dean didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but Evo Tevo isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel Evo Tevo might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
