Plexi is a good guitar. Slight disproportions in price vs. quality/features should never stop you from trying this guitar. Dan Armstrong did put a lot of effort into this instrument and it deserves to be tested. If you find that it suits your playing style, go for it - you won't be sorry.

Carefully chosen set of features makes Dan Armstrong's Plexi a really good guitar. Some might say that it lacks some of the features, but Plexi's features still fulfill an average musician's needs. You won't be wrong to go for this axe 'cause it has a wide array of different sounds and a lot of possibilities for tweaking the sound to make it yours. Getting one of Dan Armstrong's Plexi is a way to go.

There are, definitely, better sounding guitars then Dan Armstrong's Plexi, but this guitar stands up to the instruments in its category when it comes to tone it delivers. It needs to be fiddled with to make it sound right, you don't get the tone that's larger than life right away, but it will play and sound OK the way it is. Dan Armstrong could have gone a bit further and could have made it sound richer, as it doesn't sound as cool as one feels it should.

Another reliable model from Dan Armstrong brings us to a guitar that handles well and plays well. Finish doesn't feel bad at all, and the hardware is good. It stays in tune for most of the time, so if you take the time to adjust the action & pickups the way you want them, you will feel comfortable while playing Plexi.

This guitar will hold on really well as it is built well. Not to be battered as it is not the ultimate gigging tool; still, Plexi will perform OK in most live situations. You might feel that it will let you down in you hour of need, but in reality this guitar will do just well. Should you feel unconfident, have a backup guitar ready and you'll have no worries with Dan Armstrong's Plexi.
