A bit more features for the price asked is what most musicians would like to see from Daisy Rock's Star Short-Scale. Whether it's the quality of craftsmanship, or the price, musicians don't seem to like what Daisy Rock offered with Star Short-Scale.

Daisy Rock could throw in a bit more features into Star Short-Scale but this guitar is definitely a usable musical instrument. Whether it's the price cut, or Daisy Rock felt that simplicity is a good way to go, Star Short-Scale is built with a limited set of features, so one needs see if it fits the need. Not the best equipped instrument, but Star Short-Scale will do well for some musicians.

Tone delivered by Daisy Rock's Star Short-Scale makes it a serious sounding instrument that gives Daisy Rock a lot of reasons to be proud of it. Somewhat limited when playing certain music styles doesn't mean that Star Short-Scale will make your tone to sound poor, quite the opposite, because Star Short-Scale provides rich and versatile tone that you'll be happy with.

It seems that Daisy Rock didn't put in too much effort into producing a guitar like Star Short-Scale. Finish feels a bit cheap if you look closely, and the instrument did not look very promising while held and played. As with any other guitar, you have to take some time to get used to it, and it may seem that that period of getting yourself comfortable with new instrument is a bit longer with Star Short-Scale.

If you're happy with Daisy Rock's Star Short-Scale overall performance and characteristics, you can consider it to be a replacement guitar for your gigs. Even if used as only guitar Star Short-Scale will perform, but don't overrate it and always try and find a backup. It is a solid guitar that will last long and perform well if you treat it right.
