Zon is one of the most important manufacturers dedicated exclusively to the production of the electric basses. Similar to Warwick and Spector, Zon deals with high quality instruments, which are primarily made for serious amateurs and professional musicians. Unlike Warwick, Zon does not have production lines in East Asia which take care of the cheap models made for lower intermediate and beginner`s tiers of the market. Sonus is the basic and standard series (a super-series) made up of several smaller ones. Sonus 5 is a part of the standard Sonus line. It comes with a solid and double-cut alder/maple body and the bolted maple neck. Two single-coil pickups are installed on the top and are accompanied with master volume and master tone knobs. 24-fret phenolic fingerboard competes the specs.
