RBX4A2 is a model from the hugely successful and world-wide popular Yamaha RBX line. RBX models compete in the lower intermediate and intermediate sections of the market and can be counted among the most popular four and five-stringers in their class. Their main foe on the market is the basic segment of the Ibanez SR series. RBX4A2 brings futuristic design and advanced electronics to the table in order to refresh the intermediate range of the market. Solid and double-cut body of this model features modern design and a modern take on the classic bolt-on neck construction. On top, there is a hardtail bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. In the front, Yamaha installs a pair of modern single-coil pickups. 23-fret ebony fingerboard is installed on top of the maple neck.

This was a pawnshop find. Nice hit to the head stock mostly paint cracked two small nicks at the bottom off the bridge and strap lock area. Had the Guitar checked out and setup, raised E slightly for fret buzz. Pickup run on the hot side, not bad since Yamaha wound them. Volume and tone controls are good enough to get some nice clean bottom end are bring in the clang. It weights under 10 pounds so easy play for long gigs. Tone improved after new Labella round wounds. Fun to play in all styles
