BB series 400 models are there to offer a reasonably priced option for players who are looking to improve and invest in a new bass, replacing their beginner level model. Thus, the 424 comes with only the bare necessities of rock and a very affordable price. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of alder. It`s paired with a bolted maple neck and offered in several youthful and vibrant color schemes. Metallic Red, Black, Tobacco Sunburst and Vintage White comprise the color palette of this model. All four are finished in gloss and have chrome-plated hardware. Standard set of hardware appointments on the top includes a hardtail bridge and two pickups in J/P configuration. Maple neck is fit with a slim and fast contour in the back and topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
