Design-wise, Vampyre is the most modern series in the entire Warwick catalog. "Under the hood", it still features Warwick`s classic construction, hardware and electronics. Vampyres are made in Germany, Korea and China. German models are, of course, the most expensive and most exclusive. South Korean Pro Series Vampyre basses form the intermediate tier, while the Rockbass models made in China represnt the introductory tier. Vampyre 4 opens up the series with a solid, modern-designed body with an accentuated upper horn. It is made of alder and paired with a bolted maple/ekanga neck. Warwick offers this Vampyre in Black with gloss finish and chrome hardware. Pickups department is fit with a humbucker in the bridge position and a single-coil in the middle position. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the specs list.
