Adam Clayton of U2 is probably the least known superstar of bass guitar, as the Edge and Bono are the face and sound of the U2. But, Adam, together with Larry Mullen Jr, forms one of the tightest rhythm sections out there. His signature models are made by Warwick and are named Reverso, due to their reverse Explorer deign and styling. Reverso Signature is a solid, double-cut bass with four-string construction, standard scale, neck-through-body joint, active electronics and chrome-plated hardware. Body of this exceptional four-stringer is made of mahogany base with quilted maple top. On the top, there is a two-piece bridge (Warwick bridge) and a middle-positioned P pickup. Neck on this model is made of flamed maple and is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
