This lefty comes from China and Warwick`s Rockbass lines. Corvette basic lines are being updated for 2012 with short and medium scaled models. Short-scaled Corvettes have 30-3/4" scales, while the mediums have 32" scales. Though shorter than regular 34 inch basses, these models have the same tone quality. Corvette Basic 4 Medium Scale Left Handed comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder. Being a basic series model, this Corvette features no fancy aesthetic appointments, just pure rock and roll necessities. This model comes in two color options, black gloss and natural satin. The neck is made of maple with ekanga veneers. It also features a bolt-on joint with four bolts. This neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Fingerboard is equipped with a standard Warwick set of 24 frets with no inlays and a brass string nut. The pickups on this Corvette come in two options. First is passive MEC combo of two single coils, and the other is the active J/J setup also from MEC. Passive pickups have master volume, master balance and split tone knobs. Active combo features master volume, master balance, bass and treble knobs. The bridge is a Warwick two-piece with four saddles and chrome plating.
