Spirit series is one of two lines of electric basses in Steinberger catalog and it is equipped with five currently active XT models. All feature standard length scales, solid bodies with trapezoid Spirit contours, Steinberger hardware and Steinberger electronics. These models are made for wild and restless players who like to keep things as compact and mobile, as possible. XT-2 DB comes with a classic Steinberger Spirit contours and neck-through-body construction. Body is made of maple wings and maple neck, which guarantees a bright and piercing tone, strong enough to cut through virtually any mix. On the top, there is a four-saddled Steinberger bridge with tuning machines on it. Two active humbuckers are present in the front. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
