Aged Natural Satin
Riot 5 Session is one of four models in the initial lineup of the newly introduced Session series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of swamp ash and a bolt-on neck made of maple. This combination gives a strong, sharp and pretty bright tone (this exact combo was the initial main combination for Telecaster, Precision Bass and Stratocaster models back in the 1950s, before Fender switched to alder). Carved-top body is fit with a very deep lower cutaway and is available only in Aged Natural Satin color. Thin layer of satin lacquer is applied over the body of this model. Electronics department is equipped with a pair of active EMG humbuckers with an elaborate controls unit. Master volume, pickup pan knob and a three-band equalizer are featured in it. Bridge behind the pickups is rock solid stable and can be ordered in both the top-load and string-through variants, depending on the personal preferences of each player. Maple neck is fit with a standard C contour in the back and a 24-fret maple fingerboard on the top. Extra jumbo frets, offset block inlays, 12" radius and 1.77" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard. The MSRP for this gorgeous five-stringer is set at unbelievable $649.
