Raidens are a long-time installment in Schecter catalog and over the course of years, this series has diversified into four sub-series. Models with the "Special" tag have a mission of covering the lower intermediate portion of the market and offering the inexperienced players a high quality option. Raiden Special 5 is solid, double-cut and made of basswood back with quilted maple top. Standard features of this series include a Diamond series hardtail bridge and a pair of Diamond series humbucker pickups. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
