Omen ranks among the basic Schecter guitars ranges and it is divided into two main branches, the electric guitar branch and electric bass branch. Electric bass side of the series sports Standard (named just Omen) and Extreme lines. Standard line is the basic one and it sets the pace for the rest of the series. Omen 4 is the basic model of this series and it features the standard double-cut body with modern design based on the C-1 shape (electric guitars contour which is used as a base for the standard electric bass design). It is made of basswood and it`s paired with a bolted maple neck. Hardtail bridge is fronted with two humbucking pickups with a standard set of control knobs. Neck on this model is fit with a super fast and comfortable contour and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
