Schecter introduces the new Diamond Plus series for players who want the ultimate versatility and unlimited tonal potential in just one instrument. Traditionally, models based on Precision and Jazz make up the lineup of the Diamond range. This rule remains unbroken with the inception of the Plus series. Diamond-J 5 Plus Left Handed is one of three lefties in the lineup. It comes with a solid, Jazz-like body made of alder, bolted maple neck with C profile and rosewood fingerboard on the top (20-fret fingerboard with block inlays, of course), Grover tuners and hardtail bridge with string-through construction. Saving the best for the last, we introduce you the wonderful electronics department of the Diamond Plus series. Seymour Duncan`s Quarter Pound single-coils are installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Followed by master volume, four-position rotary pickup switch and an active two-band equalizer, these pickups offer an unlimited range of tonal and stylistic possibilities. Master volume knob is fit with a push/pull switch which selects the "in phase" (down position) and "out of phase" (up position) for the bridge pickup when combined with the neck pickup. Four-position switch offers following options: position 1 - bridge pickup; position 2 - bridge and neck in parallel; position 3 - both pickups in series; position 4 - neck pickup alone. Two-band EQ has bass and treble pots and is powered by a pair of 9v batteries.
