Damien Elite-5 is an extended range option in the Damien`s Elite company. Damien family of models, which encompasses both guitars and basses, is placed underneath the Hellraiser and Blackjack, but above some entry level series like Demon and Omen. So, these models manage to catch some of the pizazz luxury series have. This elite five-stringer has a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Damien Elite-5 is available only in crimson red with glossy finish and multi-ply black binding around the carved top. The bridge is Schecter`s own Custom bass bridge with five saddles and two available options. One is a top-load and the other is string-through body construction. For the pickup compartment Schecter prepared two EMG passive MMhz humbuckers. They are controlled through master volume, master blend and active EMG B64 three-band equalizer. The neck is made of maple, as is tradition in the Damien family, and connected to the body with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 24 extra jumbo sized frets with abalone gothic cross position inlays. Other features on Damien Elite-5 include: black chrome hardware, Schecter bass tuners and 35" scale.
