Along with the acoustic and electric guitar sections, Schecter`s electric bass range is also being updated for 2017. CV series will receive two brand new basic models and CV-4 is the series` new four-stringer. It is a vintage/modern bass, with classic styling and modern electronics.
CV-4 has an offset, flat-top body, bolt-on neck, advanced hardware features, as well as modern humbucking pickups. However, the base of this four-stringer is made up of an ash body (flat-top, covered with a vintage-styled pickguard), maple neck (carbon fiber reinforcement rods, thin C profile) and a 22-fret fingerboard (either rosewood or maple).
Main hardware and electronics appointments include an S-Tek (monorail) bridge, two Schecter Diamond J-Bucker pickups and Schecter Light-Weight tuners.
