Rickenbacker`s legendary 4003 has been chosen, along with the 300 series models, to be incorporated into the exclusive W series. It is the only four-string member of the lineup. 4003W is a solid and double-cut bass guitar with a flat-top body made of walnut wings and maple neck in the middle (this 4003 features neck-through-body construction). Thanks to the natural density of the walnut and through-body neck joint, 4003W features unprecedented sustain and power. Maple neck rocks a pretty comfortable contour in the back and a 20-fret maple fingerboard on top. Pickups combo consists of two single-coil pickups (middle and neck positions). Split volume and tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch make up the controls unit. Famous RIC bridge and Schaller tuners complete the specs list.
