Reverend Guitars is mostly famous for its unique vintage/modern six-strings, though it offers equally awesome four/five-string axes. Mercalli series is one of the best examples of what Rev`s basses are capable of. The current roster has four Mercalli models, this being the only four-string option. Main features include an offset double-cut body (flat top, all-korina construction, white binding, vintage-style pickguard), Reverend electronics (Thick Brick 4 in the bridge, Split Brick 4 in the neck, w/volume, tone, and balance knobs), and Reverend/Hipshot hardware. Metallic Copper Fire, Metallic Alpine, and Cream color options are available. Mercalli 4 also features a 5-piece maple/walnut neck, roasted maple/blackwood fingerboard (21 frets, dot inlays, 34" scale), hardtail bridge (string-thru or top-load), and Hipshot tuners.
