TB505 is the five-string version of Mitchell`s TB500 range of solid-bodied electric basses. It is based on the age-old Jazz Bass design, which is countered with modern electronics, hardware and construction solutions. Black is the only available color option. With a solid, offset body made of basswood and a bolt-on maple neck, 505 sports one of the most common tonewood combos in the lower intermediate/intermediate class. The body topped with a large (JB-styled) plastic pickguard, while the neck sports a 22-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard on top. Medium jumbo frets, offset dot inlays and 1.73" TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard. Mitchell`s own passive, alnico V pickups fill the bridge and neck slots, delivering a well balanced, versatile tone to the table. Five-saddled hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners wrap up the list of major features.
