FB705 is the five-stringed version of Mitchell`s FB700 series bass. It is an intermediate class instrument, with solid body construction, stock electronics, 24-fret fingerboard and black nickel hardware. Only one color option, Natural, is available. FB705 comes in with an offset, double-cut body, made of mahogany base and quilt maple top. The neck is a five piece, equipped with shallow D profile and bolt-on joint in the back. On its top, there is a 24-fret fingerboard made of Indian rosewood (abalone oval inlays, medium jumbo frets, 1.77" TUSQ nut). Pickups are Mitchell`s own MB5 (alnico V) humbuckers, in both the bridge and neck positions. These full-sized `buckers, supported with a three-band EQ, deliver a huge range of tones. Top-load hardtail bridge and modern die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
