Skyline`s 44/55 models feature more modern styling and design than their Decade and Hollowbody series mates. 44 and 55 are based on the contemporary Music Man design and construction, with the accent on the great electronics Lakland installs on these models. Skyline 44-02 Deluxe is the top four stringer in the 44/55 part of the Skyline series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of ash and a bolted neck made of maple (maple is the default neck wood in Lakland`s bass segment). On the top of the body, Skyline 44-02 Deluxe is fit with a standard four-saddled hardtail bridge with chrome plating and a pair of pickups (H/S combo) with split volume and tone controls. 22-fret maple fingerboard is installed on the maple neck.
