PB4 is one of two currently available models of the PB series. It is the four-stringed option (the other is a five-stringer). Both models, including the PB4, feature Precision-inspired looks, bolt-on neck construction, flat-top bodies, 22-fret fingerboards and passive electronics. PB4 starts at $899 (one of the lowest entry points in the entire Kiesel catalog) and the basic model has a super simple chassis. It consists of an alder body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Though not included at the basic level, plain and figured tops are available. Also, alternative body, neck and fingerboard woods can be ordered. Hardware and electronics sections feature following appointments: Carvin`s 4-saddled hardtail bridge (adjustable lockdown saddles string-through construction), passive SPC split-coil pickup in the middle position and Carvin tuners.
