JG-702 is an acoustic-electric bass guitar from Johnson Guitars catalog. It is the top model of the entire acoustic bass range produced by this Arizona-based manufacturer. JG-702 is one of very few dreadnought-shaped acoustic basses out on the market. This model comes with a single cut body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panels is decorated with creme binding and multiple rosette. Pickguard is omitted from the specs list. On the inside Johnson installs a piezo pickup in combination with a side-mounted piezo preamp. Neck is a standard one and it`s made of nato wood. It is equipped with a standard back contour and it`s topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of bound rosewood.
