Imola series is one of the most prominent lines of basses and guitars and one of few Italia series to feature five-stringed basses. Imola 5 is one of two five-stringed models in it`s series and is the only one with a fretted fingerboard. Body of this outstanding five-stringer is semi-hollow and double cut. It`s made of korina wood and it`s paired with a bolt-on maple neck. On Imola series models, including this one, Italia installs Wilkinson hardware and electronics. Five-saddled bridge on the top is made by Wilkinson, as are the pickups. Pickups are installed in the classic S/S configuration and feature a standard set of control knobs. Maple neck is fit with a series standard rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets.
