Ibanez`s Bass Workshop is an eclectic series of boutique-level basses made for the most demanding players out there. The vast majority of the lineup comes from the SR ranks, with a significant portion being provided by the BTB range. 2018 lineup also brings IBW`s first upright bass - UB804. The newcomer sports a solid body, neck-thru construction, piezo electronics, and the standard 34" scale. Mahogany Oil Burst is the name of the only currently available color option (gloss finish, black hardware, no binding, no pickguards). Main construction features include a solid non-cutaway body (maple wings, contoured top), through-body maple/walnut neck (UB profile, 5-piece construction), a fretless jatoba fingerboard (offset dot inlays, 1.65" nut, 34" scale), Aeroslik Monorail bridge (and piezo pickup), and custom-designed TAMA Roadpro stand.
