Brand new Talman electric bass series has been introduced at 2015 winter NAMM, and it kicked off with a set of two vintage/modern models. These models are very affordable, as well, costing only $249 (TMB300) and $199 (TMB100). TMB300, the more expensive option, comes with a pretty standard set of specs, but with something little extra. That extra is found in the pickups department, where the J/P combo (seen on TMB100) is replaced by a humbucker/P combination. The pickups are still Dynamix, still passive. The controls unit is taken over from the 100 model, and the bridge pickup phase switch is added. Volume knob still doubles as the pickup selector, while the tone knob contains both the bass and treble boost/cut functions. The extra switch selects whether the entire bridge pickup, or its neck coil are in function. Body beneath the pickups is solid, flat and made entirely of mahogany. The only piece of decoration it features, is the tortoise pickguard. Maple neck is attached to it via the four-bolt joint, and features the standard TMB profile in the back. Fingerboard is a classic one, its made of rosewood and equipped with a set of 20 medium-sized frets. Vintage-styled tuners on the headstock, dot inlays on the frets, and the standard 34" scale wrap the list of specs.

Decent Bass for the price nice and solid so if you bump it on something you don’t have to fret to much. Overall I’d say it is a good buy I love my metallic forest green color makes the Tortise pick guard pop
