SR4006E is a new model introduced into the Prestige section of the SR series of solid-bodied electric bass guitars. Pretige segment deals only with the finest materials and top shelf appointments. As a whole, SR series is more oriented towards the search for the ultimate tone and playability, than it is made to look flashy. Thus the SR4006E comes with a simple, yet very elegant double-cut body made of mahogany. Body of this model is flat on the top and it sports a bolt-on neck joint. Top wood cover and pickguard are also omitted from the specs list. Stained oil is the only color scheme available and it adds to the understated elegance of SR4006E. On the top, there`s a mono rail bridge with six completely independent saddles and cosmo black paint over them. Custom Bartolini pickups sit in both the bridge and neck positions in the front. Master volume, balance, miniswitch and a four-band equalizer make up the controls of this bass. Five-piece wenge/bubinga neck sports the comfortable Atlas contour in the back. It`s topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of wenge.
