SR`s 300 tier is the series` opener. It features the basic SR models and displays what this modern range can deliver on a tight budget. Constant evolution and upgrades have brought the SR300 on the verge of the middle class, while still keeping the price tags well in the lower intermediate section. 2016 models come with E and EB designations and raise the bar once again. 300/305E basses are the new SR standard and from what we saw and heard, some rainy days are coming for the competing brands and models. SR305E rocks a simple, yet terrifyingly good specs list. Let`s check it out. SR305E is a solid-bodied five-stringer with a standard 34" scale and bolt-on construction. It features a mahogany body in combination with a five-piece maple/rosewood neck. SR-contoured neck is topped with a modern 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. 1.77" nut, 12" radius and dot inlays complete the fingerboard. Electronics department features a pair of PowerSpan dual-coil cannons and an extended controls unit (3-band EQ, mid-frequency switch). It can deliver pretty much any type of tone modern today`s players might come to need. Standard Accu-cast B125 bridge and die-cast tuners keep the strings tightly in tune.
