The classy SR Premium series, though not as exclusive and expensive as the SR Prestige, still offers luxurious four, five, and six-stringers. SR Premium`s known for the many tiers it`s made up of, ranging from 900 to 1800/1900 (2018 catalog even features two 2600 tier models). Traditionally, 1700 models were just a step below the flagship 1800/1900 models. SR1700BE is the new basic 1700 model. It is available in Natural (w/gloss finish, gold-plated hardware, matching headstock). Main construction features include a solid and double-cut SR body (mahogany base, poplar burl/walnut top, natural binding), a five-piece panga panga/purpleheart neck, a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard (12" radius, 34" scale, 1.5" nut), a Monorail bridge, Nordstrand pickups, and die-cast tuners.
