SR300 is one of the basic models of the Sound Gear range of solid-bodied electric basses made by Ibanez Guitars. SR range is divided into three tiers: SR Prestige, SR Premium and SR. SR Prestige is the top tier, while the SR is the budget-oriented section of the series. SR300 belongs to the regular SR series and it features all of the standard features for budget-friendly SR models. Body is solid, double-cut and made of agathis. It features deep cutaway, carved top and bolt-on neck joint. Bridge on the top is fit with a four-saddled bridge with black plating. Two soapbar pickups with standard controls unit are installed in the front. Bolted neck is made of five pieces of maple and rosewood and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
