BTB series is a line of big, full-scaled basses with dual single-coil pickups and advanced construction features. The main feature of the series is the neck-through-body construction. Also, these basses feature deep cutaways, which enables easier access to the upper frets. Single-coil pickups installed on the BTB basses deliver unprecedented level of versatility and are easy to manipulate. Controls units installed along with them are fairly simple to use. Body of the BTB775PB is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany wings with poplar top. Bridge installed on the top is a five-saddled monorail with cosmo black plating. Neck is made of several pieces of maple and bubinga and is topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. 34" scale, cosmo black plated tuners and 39" fingerboard radius complete the specs list.

The onboard active EQ combined with the bass/treble cut switch is a tremendous asset when on stage along with the other electronics. The sustain is amazing from the highest to the lowest note. One of the better features that I like is the extra width between strings when playing funk tunes. This is a complete balanced instrument. If you are a serious player that demands performance, this is the bass for you. I played a yamaha trb6p Pattituci signature bass for years and this is just as good if not better.
