AS73, it`s 2017 incarnation, is one of six new Artcore series models introduced by Ibanez at the annual NAMM show. It is a hollow-bodied archtop, aimed primarily at rock and electric blues guitarists. Players can choose from three color variants: Antique Amber, Tobacco Brown and Transparent Cherry Red. All three variants feature 22-fret fingerboards, dual pickups and ES-esque styling.
AS73 comes in with an arched, double-cut body made of maple (back, sides, top, all maple), AS-shaped mahogany neck (set-in, with smooth finish) and rosewood fingerboard on top of the neck (block inlays, medium frets, 1.69" nut, 12" radius, 24-7/10" scale).
Other important features include a two-piece bridge (ART-1/Quick Change III), Classic Elite (passive/alnico) pickups and die-cast tuners.
