The best-selling Artcore series was introduced back in 2002 and went on to become one of Ibanez`s key ranges. Today, it houses a vast array of hollow and semi-hollow axes, with focus set firmly on the affordable models. The current lineup has twelve models - ten right-handed and two left-handed. AS53L (2018) is one of the lefties. It offers a semi-hollow sapele body (back, sides, top), set-in neck construction, a set of Ibanez`s all-purpose Infinity R humbuckers with simple controls, and stock hardware. The color palette is reduced to Tobacco Flat option (satin finish, black headstock, chrome hardware). Other notable features include a set-in mahogany neck, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, a two-piece hardtail bridge unit, and die-cast tuners.
