Hohner shares their bass line with Steinberger in terms of design and construction of their four and five-stringed electric basses. Currently, Hohner only offers three models in their active lineup and B2AV is one of them. It comes with a solid rectangular body (the same as Steinberger`s Spirit series) made of maple back with quilt maple top. Top is traditionally flat and equipped with only the most basic hardware and decoration appointments. Cherry Sunburst, Walnut Satin and Silver color options are available for this model. All have black hardware and only Walnut Satin is finished in satin. Other two are finished in gloss. Steinberger bridge with four tuners is installed on the top and in it`s front, Hohner installs a pair of single-coil pickups. Maple neck runs through the body and it`s topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
