Icon series is a line of Violin basses with a task to capture the tone and feel of the earlier Violin Bass incarnations. Icon Series Vintage Violin Bass is a fully hollow bass with a set in maple neck. Body of this gorgeous vintage four-stringer is made of maple back and sides with a carved spruce sound board on the top. Vintage styling and hardware are featured on the top. Hofner offers this four-string bass in Vintage Sunburst and Black color schemes. Both are finished in gloss and fit with chrome hardware. On the top, Icon Series Vintage Bass features a two-piece bridge and a pair of active minibucker pickups. Maple neck is fit with a comfortable D contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
