The legendary T`Bird is Gibson`s most popular and longest-running electric bass guitar. Noted for its outstanding design, thunderous tone, and neck-through-body construction, Thunderbird has always been in a league of its own. 2018 lineup features only one T`Bird, simply named Thunderbird Bass 2018. It is available in Bright Cherry, Ebony, Vintage Sunburst. All color options feature gloss finish, black hardware, black plastics, and matching headstock trims. The MSRP is uniformly set at $2,199. Other notable features include solid and flat mahogany body wings (classic Thunderbird pickguard on the treble side), a 9-piece mahogany/walnut through-body neck (rounded profile, satin finish), a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.5" tektoid nut, 34" scale, 12" radius), a Babicz bridge, Thunderbird soapbar pickups, and Grover tuners.
