Triturador is a brand new line in Fernandes catalog and currently consists only of four-stringed deluxe model. It is made for players inclined towards the extreme sub-genres of metal with it`s active pickups and distortion electronics circuit. Triturador Deluxe starts off with a very original body contour which slightly reminds of Dean`s Cadillac models. It is made of solid mahogany with a flat top. Top binding depends on the color option chosen. Black binding for white colored model and white binding for black colored model. There are no pickguards featured on this deluxe four-stringer. The bridge is a bass variant of a tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar. The bridge has four saddles and chrome plating. Pickups for this model are provided by EMG, and it is a 35DC in the bridge and neck positions. These pickups are controlled through master volume, master tone, master blend, distortion on/off switch and gain knob. The neck is made of maple and features a neck-through body construction. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and is equipped with 22 jumbo sized frets with "tools of the trade" position inlays. Other features include: 34" scale, 14" fingerboard radius, 1.75" wide Graphtech nut and die-cast tuners.
