3-Tone Sunburst
Steve Bailey Jazz Bass VI Fretless is one of many models found within the ranks of Fender`s exclusive Artist series. This series deals only with the signature and tribute models made for various heroes of the four, five and, in Steve Bailey`s case, six-stringed bass. Solid and flat-top body of this outstanding model is made of alder, Fender`s most dominant body wood. It`s paired with a bolted maple neck. Top of the body is equipped with a six-saddled high mass bridge with chrome plating. Pair of single-coil, so called "Jazz" pickups is also installed on the top. Standard controls unit comes along with these extended range pickups. Maple neck on this 34"-scaled juggernaut is topped with a fretless fingerboard made of ebony.
