Deluxe Active Jazz Bass is a model from the Deluxe series of basses, which is divided between the active and passive variants of Fender`s most iconic basses of all time. This Jazz Bass is a four-stringer with 34" scale, flat-top body, Bolted neck with C contour and overall vintage styling. Even the good old tortoise shell pickguard is there. The body, itself is solid, double-cut and made of alder (alder is the most standard body wood in the catalog). On it`s top, there`s the standard bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. Pickups installed in the front are active and are featured in the classic J/J pattern (J/J stands for Jazz single coil/Jazz single coil). Maple neck is bolted to the body and it is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.

This bass has all the fender tone one could want! It has excellent electronics and can be ready for virtually any style of music. If you are looking for a solid jazz bass, get this one.
