Dimension Bass is a novelty in Fender`s catalog and, quite possibly, a game-changing bass for the entire industry. With novelties introduced with this series, Fender is aiming high, very high. Aiming with many, many arguments. All of these arguments are displayed on the flagship four-stringer of the new Dimension range, the American Deluxe Dimension IV Bass. It kicks off with a solid and double-cut body with modern, flat-top design, super deep cutaway and five-bolt neck joint instead of the standard four-bolt joint. It is made of ash and features the plastic pickguard on the top. Chrome-plated Hi-Mass bridge has four adjustable saddles and is fronted with a bridge-positioned full-sized humbucker. The pickup is equipped with an 18V on-board preamp with active 3-band equalizer (bass boost-cut, middle boost-cut and treble boost-cut). neck is made of maple and it features the revolutionary new asymmetrical C contour in the back, which allows better grip and better mobility. It`s finished in gloss and it`s topped with a 21-fret fingerboard (both maple and rosewood variants are available). 1.625" bone nut, medium jumbo-sized frets and dot inlays complete the fingerboard. Chrome-plated Fender tuners, 34" scale and Heel-Mounted Spoke Wheel Truss Rod Adjustment complete the specs list.
