Surveyor series offers modern and aggressive design, gut wrenching tone and solid construction. It`s models are equipped with double-cut bodies, full-length scales and strong pickups. Possibly the strongest point of the Surveyor series models is their affordable price. Surveyor II is the basic model of this line and it features a solid and double-cut body made of ash (ash is, along with basswood, a replacement for alder, the principal tone wood in ESP/LTD catalog). It features deep cutaway and bolt-on neck joint. This flat-top four-stringer has a regular hardtail bridge with chrome plating. Two humbuckers are equipped with a standard set of control knobs. Maple is used for the neck on Surveyor II and it is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
