LTD`s AP series of electric basses offers vintage/modern design and tone, along with ESP`s world-wide famous build quality and playability. Currently, the series` lineup is made of two models, a four-stringer and a five-stringer. LTD AP-5 is, naturally, the five-stringed option. It offers basically the same specs and features as its four-string companion, only with the low B string added. Simple construction, versatile tone, and excellent playability are AP-5`s strongest points. Black (w/gloss finish, black hardware, and black plastics) is the only available color option. Main construction features include a solid and flat alder body (w/vintage-designed pickguard on top), bolt-on maple neck (thin U profile), 21-fret ebony fingerboard (34" scale, dot inlays), hardtail bridge, EMG pickups (JP configuration), and Grover tuners.
