Gabe Crisp is one of already established and well known ESP signature artist. His signature series has contained only one model thus far - a Jazz Bass - like model introduced in 2010. 2015 marks a change in the Gabe Crisp signature line, bringing the simple and deadly GC-P4. GC, of course, stands for Gabe Crisp, while the P4 tells us that it is a four-stringed bass guitar with the classic Precision-like body, quality tonewoods and ESP/LTD hardware and electronics. Body of this interesting four-string has the classic/modern Precision Bass looks and styling. Solid and double-cut body of this model is made entirely of alder and is paired with a bolted maple neck. Big black pickguard is also featured on the top, along with the black-clad hardtail bridge. Bridge features the string-through-body construction, along with the black plating. Pickups in front of the bridge are, quite surprisingly, ESP Designed LH LDJ and LDP (bridge and middle, respectively). The tone these two produce is staggering, especially considering their reputation as stock pickups. Maple neck is bolted to the body through a standard joint and features the thin U profile in the back. 21 extra jumbo fret on the maple fingerboard and LTD`s Vintage-styled tuners wrap the specs list up.
