ESP`s Vintage series is a nod to the classic Fender guitars and basses, the very instrument which helped define modern music. Mostly, Stratocaster, Telecaster (guitar side) and Precision and Jazz (bass side) models comprise the lineup. E-II Vintage-4 PJ is currently the only E-II Vintage bass. It is a four-string with bolt-on construction, classic CBS-era Precision styling and Seymour Duncan electronics. PJ`s body is solid, flat on top and made entirely of alder. It is paired with a U-shaped maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. ESP has outfitted this vintage four-string with a classic J/P set of pickups. Set is made up of passive Seymour Duncan SJB-2B in the bridge and SPB-2N in the middle position. Two volume knobs which double as pickup balancers and single tone knob comprise the controls. Top-load ESP bridge and Gotoh tuners complete the list of major features of this exclusive axe.
