E-II is one of exclusive ranges within the ESP catalog. Its basses and guitars are made in Japan, in ESP`s home facilities. E-II J-5 QM is a five-string bass guitar with a classic Jazz Bass design, bolt-on construction and active Seymour Duncan electronics. Solid and double-cut body of this majestic five-string is made of chambered ash base and a two-piece quilted maple top. Bolted neck is made of maple and it features the standard Thin U profile. On its top, there is a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. Pickups department is equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan`s SJ5 single-coils. Volume, balance and two-band EQ comprise the controls unit. String-through hardtail bridge and Gotoh tuners complete the list of major features.
