EC series` opening models are among the best four and five-string options for beginners interested in heavy rock and metal styles. They feature basic styling, high quality craftsmanship and solid, reliable hardware.
EC-154 is currently the starting EC bass. This full-scaled (34") four-string comes with a single-cut basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck with standard Thin U profile. Black and Snow White color options are available. Both come with gloss finish, black nickel hardware and painted headstocks. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is the only fingerboard option (some LTD basses offer fretless, maple or even ebony options).
Electronics department is outfitted with a pair of passive ESP Designed Soapbar pickups with an active three-band ABQ-3 equalizer. String-through bridge and pickups are both LTD branded.
